3. ARTISAN GUARANTEE

Our hats are 100% handmade by skilled weavers from Montecristi. Each piece is unique, so slight variations in color, weave, or brim dimensions may occur — highlighting the product’s handcrafted and exclusive nature.

Before shipping, we inspect each hat and document its condition with photos and videos to ensure quality and traceability.


4. RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We thoroughly review each order before shipping. If you find any issues upon delivery, contact us within 4 business days by emailing [email protected] with clear photos and a description of the issue.

To qualify for an exchange:
• The product must be unused, with tags, certificates, and original packaging.
• Used or incomplete items will not be accepted.
• Return shipping, duties, and customs costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Once we receive and validate the product’s condition, we will proceed with the exchange. The new item will be shipped within 1 to 2 weeks.

5. PAYMENT METHODS

On our online store, you can pay with all major credit cards and PayPal. At our physical workshop, we also accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and bank transfers.

Note: We do not offer PayPal refunds after 4 business days from product delivery. If any issues arise, we are open to resolving them with you in the best possible way.


6. ORDER SHIPPING

We process orders the next business day after payment confirmation (if in stock).

International: We use FedEx or DHL for safe home delivery (Incoterm DAP).
National (Ecuador): We ship via Servientrega.

Estimated delivery times:
• International: 3 to 6 business days
• National: 1 to 2 business days

Possible delays may be due to:
• Weather conditions
• Customs procedures
• Incorrect address or recipient unavailability

Import taxes or customs fees in the destination country are the customer’s responsibility. If you wish to declare a specific value on the invoice, please request it at checkout.

Montecuador offers a wide variety of hat styles, sizes, and qualities. Each hat is made to order, ensuring you receive a brand-new, customizable piece.

Feel free to inquire about external hatbands, colors, or available models.


8. TAX EXEMPTION

Our products are VAT-exempt in Ecuador, as we are a registered artisan company. The prices shown on the store and at checkout are final. We include an invoice with each order to help streamline customs processing in your country.


9. TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

If there is any price or information error caused by an unintentional mistake, we will contact you to resolve it.

If your order has already been paid for, we will offer you a fair solution without affecting your customer experience.


10. TERMS OF USE & UPDATES
